This potty-time communication board is not just a wonderful tool to help you explain the potty-time process to your child, it can also help children who cannot yet speak or who might be non-verbal. ADDED BONUS! It helps make potty time a little more exciting and gives kids an added sense of independence!
After your download is complete, print it out. You can use a heavy-duty paper for this. Next, you can color the pictures if you want. I find coloring with the child helps him/her feel like part of the process and helps build excitement around the potty. I highly recommend laminating the pieces so you can get more use from them. I took mine to my local office supply store and got it back in a couple of days. I chose to use sticky hook and eye tabs I found at the hobby store so we could switch the pictures around, take them off, and put them on again and again placing the soft type on the back of each picture and the other, rougher type on the chart.
